SUKKOT CELEBRATION!
Monday, September 20th at 6:30 p.m.
Sukkot – The Season of our Joy!
“Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are the people who know
the joyful sound [who understand and appreciate the spiritual
blessings symbolized by the feast]; they walk, O Lord, in the
light and favor of Your countenance! Psalm 89:15 AMP
1The Feast of Tabernacles or Sukkot is also known as the Season of our Joy! John 1:14 says “The Word became flesh, and did tabernacle among us.” Revelation 21:3 says “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them.” In His presence is fullness of JOY! Sukkot is a time to rejoice in His presence!
Writing to the non-Jewish church in the Greek city of Corinth 25 years AFTER Jesus resurrection, the Apostle Paul encouraged them to join in the spiritual blessings of the feasts. “Let us celebrate the festival” (1 Cor 5:8). We are invited to be those “blessed, happy, fortunate people who appreciate the spiritual blessings symbolized by the feast!”
Our church celebration will include a catered meal together in the main sanctuary on Monday, September 20th. It will be a wonderful time of fun and fellowship with each other and with the Lord. Following our meal, the evening will include worship, prayer, giving our firstfruit offerings to the Lord, and declarations of God’s blessings! The meal will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. It will be FREE! However, to ensure an accurate count, a refundable deposit of $10 per person, or $20 per family is required. This deposit will be refunded to you when you attend the celebration. Space will be limited due to the setup of tables, so please reserve your seat as soon as possible at the sign up table in the gathering area before and after Sunday services. See you here for our JOYFUL CELEBRATION!
